today has been an interesting day to say the least.
i had planned to have breakfast with brooke and then go to the gym. we had to squash the plan for the gym since it was super important for me to get some blood tests done today.
we had breakfast at angel's diner, then went to the telus store where i got a new phone !!! :)
we left the telus store and i was in an excellent mood. we went over to the msd lab only to find out they had closed 5 minutes before due to bad weather :( there was only one solution to this...
SHOPPING!!
so we headed to fairview where i found a dress for $10, a cute little cardigan for $10, and a sexy shirt for $4!! HOORAY!!
from there, we moved on to bluenotes - this of course resulted in new jeans, and a $10 fleece housecoat (which i was pretty impressed with).
after all of this i knew it was no longer safe for me to remain in the mall with my debit card, so off to the buses.
as we are waiting for the bus, a couple comes out of the mall and the man is telling the woman to get away from him and to stay out of his life. he says she's abusive and needs to leave him alone. she explodes and yells "I'm abusive? Who's always hitting me and beating me to the ground? You wanna fight? I'll fight you right here!!" and promptly starts kicking and hitting him in the parking lot. i went inside and asked a saleswoman to call mall security. i went back outside and they were separated but still yelling. she threatened to stab him and then walked away. - wierd.
(tara - it made me sad cuz it reminded me of teddy)
anyhow, we rode the bus safely home with no more incidents.
when i got home i saw how deep the snow was and thought to at least start shoveling it for vilaylack. i'm not very strong so i didn't think i would get very far, but a neighbor i'd never met came over and helped me do the whole thing. total good samaritan!!
anyway. that was my day :) hopefully soon i will model my cute new clothes and put up some pics!!
