It's getting hot in here...

for those of you who do not know. my roommate has 3 dogs. Tippy, Elmo, and Brooklyn. Brooklyn is Tippy and Elmo's son. Elmo consequently got fixed after that litter was born. Brooklyn however is not a puppy anymore and has no qualms about incest. Tippy is in heat and the only thing separating them is a baby gate. the incessant barking is driving me out of my mind. i can't get mad at him though because he's obviously in agony and is shaking all over. that being said...dogs supposedly go through their heat cycle for a whole month. my sympathy might wear off before then.



my baby kitten also seems to be growing up. sara is walking around making some random moaning noises that i haven't heard since before asia was fixed. she only does it for about a minute at a time a couple times a day. if that's all her heat cycle is going to be like, i can save myself $300 and not get her fixed!!!
